In the process of producing charcoal, Charcoal machines have to deal with temperature. High temperature is used in the rod making, carbonization and drying stages. Temperature has always been an important factor affecting the quality of finished products. The temperature factor is particularly important in the processes of drying, rod making, carbonization, etc. So today, our company's technical department staff will introduce to you how much the temperature should be controlled during the production of charcoal equipment?
When drying raw materials, the dryer in the charcoal machine equipment needs to keep the moisture content of the raw materials below 8%-12%, and the temperature adjustment is generally around 160-300 degrees.
There are 3 heating rings outside the forming cylinder of the rod making machine, which can raise the temperature of the forming cylinder to about 350℃. In order to ensure that the density of the charcoal firewood stick is high, the surface is smooth, and there are no obvious cracks. We can choose the appropriate forming temperature according to the type and moisture content of the raw materials. Its height can only be determined through on-site tests. Generally speaking, if we assume that the screw propeller is qualified and the moisture content of the raw materials is between 6-12%, we can control the final molding temperature of wood chips, wood sawdust, wood shavings and bamboo raw materials between 260-320℃.
In the carbonization process, the temperature must be strictly controlled. The carbonization process mainly includes the following stages:
1. Drying stage. The temperature in this stage is 120-150℃, and the pyrolysis rate is very slow. It is mainly because the moisture contained in the wood evaporates by relying on the heat supplied from the outside, and the chemical composition of the wood material has almost no change.
2. Pre-carbonization stage. The temperature in this stage is 150-275℃, the pyrolysis reaction of the wood material is relatively obvious, and the chemical composition of the wood material begins to change. The unstable combination components, such as hemicellulose, decompose to produce carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and a small amount of acetic acid.
3. Carbonization stage. The temperature of this stage is 275-400℃. In this stage, the wood material undergoes rapid thermal decomposition, generating a large number of decomposition products. The liquid products produced contain a large amount of acetic acid, alcohol and wood oil. The water content of carbon dioxide in the generated gas gradually decreases, while methane and other combustible gases gradually increase. This stage releases a large amount of reaction heat, so it is also called the exothermic reaction stage.
4. Calcination stage. The temperature rises to 450-500℃. In this stage, the charcoal is calcined by external heat supply, the volatile substances remaining in the charcoal are discharged, and the fixed carbon content of the charcoal is increased. At this time, very few liquid products are generated.
5. Carbonization stage. The temperature of this stage is 500-1200℃, and this stage is the key.
